This is going to a be an up to date account of my training programme, having just paid my money and entered the race. I want to keep this as a record of the dry stuff (ie training patterns, nutrition, techniques and technical issues, sleeping patterns etc) but also the include some honest thoughts about about the training and the prospect of the challenge, as I travel the long arduous journey to the start line. I'll definately include some of the laughs along the way - if I find any!
Good 1hr 30 min session including 5 sets of 300m. Talk with Jon (the coach) Horsman after about the kind of training program that is need, and how that can be fitted in around a job and friends/family etc.
